Balance in light seat

I've got really long legs compared to my upper body, so I find it hard to balance in the light seat. I end up having to lean really far forward just to stay up there. Has anyone got a tip or something?
Answers from HayHay's experts

One key tip is that your foot needs to come underneath your hip. If you have to fold your upper body forward a great deal, it is often because your foot has crept too far forward, which stops you balancing centrally over the horse. So try checking that! 😊
