Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) describes the rules that apply to everyone who visits or interacts with the HayHay website (the “Site”), operated by Interactivist AB. By using the Site, you agree to comply with this Policy, which is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
1. Permitted Use
You may browse, read, and share HayHay articles and equestrian content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. When sharing excerpts or links to our content, please provide proper attribution and a link back to the original page on the Site. Professionals and educators are welcome to reference our material in accordance with standard fair use practices.
2. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities when using the Site:
Scraping and automated access. You may not use bots, spiders, crawlers, or any automated means to access, copy, or harvest content from the Site beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt file. Bulk downloading, mirroring, or republishing our content without written permission is prohibited.
Harassment and abusive behavior. You may not use the Site or any communication channels associated with it (including our contact email) to harass, threaten, defame, or abuse any person, including HayHay staff, contributors, or other visitors.
Spam and unsolicited communications. You may not send spam, chain messages, or unsolicited promotional material through any HayHay channel. Attempts to submit automated form entries or misuse newsletter signups are prohibited.
Security and interference. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, probe for vulnerabilities, circumvent security features, introduce malware, or interfere with the normal operation of the Site or its infrastructure.
3. Content Guidelines
Any material you submit or share with HayHay, whether through email, comments, or other channels, must be accurate, respectful, and lawful. Do not submit content that is misleading, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or that promotes unsafe practices involving horses or other animals. Interactivist AB reserves the right to decline, remove, or modify any submitted content at its sole discretion.
4. Enforcement
Interactivist AB reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this Policy. Enforcement measures may include removing content, blocking IP addresses, restricting access to the Site, and, where appropriate, reporting activity to law enforcement or pursuing legal remedies.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any activity that violates this Policy, or if you have concerns about content on the Site, please report it to us at hay@hayhayapp.se. Please include a description of the issue and any relevant links or information so we can investigate promptly.
