Bareback riding - tips for safety and balance

Riding bareback today (in all paces)! Have you got any tips so I don't go flying straight down into the dirt? 😅❤️
Answers from HayHay's experts

Finding your balance bareback usually takes a little time! Try to focus on relaxing your legs, so you do not end up gripping on if you lose your balance. Aim to sit right in the middle of your horse and go with the movement. Use a neckstrap if you can, so you have something extra to hold on to without balancing on the reins, and therefore on the horse's mouth!

Good luck! 🌸
