Canter stride at the start of the tölt

My Icelandic horse has a really lovely tölt but she throws in a canter stride at the start of the tölt and I don't really know how to get rid of it? I'd be so happy if you had any tips 😊

It sounds as though she is rolling slightly (taking off a little unevenly behind) on her way into the tölt. Practise preparing her for the transition and then bringing her back down again just before she goes up into tölt. Also work on the transition from tölt to walk for only a step or two, then ride tölt again. Good luck 🐴
