Improving my seat when riding bareback

Improving my seat when I ride bareback. I want to improve my seat when riding bareback, as I feel like I pull my legs up and feel a bit unstable, especially in canter.

Hello! It is easy to think you should stay on by gripping with your legs. Instead, try to keep your legs as straight as possible and balance on your seat bones. Use your core muscles to stay centred over the horse. You almost have to roll your legs in so the inside of the thigh lies against the horse, bringing you up onto the highest point of your pelvis!

Good luck!
