Pole exercises
What are your favourite exercises with poles? (Ground poles or raised, not jumping.)

Here are a few fun pole exercises I like to do:
Double L formation: Lay out two L-shaped rows of poles inside each other, so a channel forms between them. You can work both over the poles and by turning through the channel between them. This is good for engaging the topline and bringing the hind legs underneath.
Zigzag pattern: Lay the poles out in a zigzag. This exercise is perfect for working on manoeuvrability and coordination, depending on how you ride over them.
Plus sign: Set four poles out in the shape of a plus sign. You can ride over the poles on both large and small circles, or vary your lines to challenge and supple the horse. Good luck!
