Rising trot for beginners
I'm a beginner who's learning to do rising trot, and I find it really hard to come up, down, up, down. My riding instructor that I had yesterday when I rode said I was really good at it, but I myself think it's pretty hard. Do you have any tips on how to make it easier to do rising trot and not fly up and down in the saddle?

I think it is good to start in walk so you can control the whole movement slowly. Remember that your foot should be under your hip. To get control of the movement, you can also work on rising trot in different rhythms, such as standing up for two steps and sitting for one. This is an effective way for the body to learn the movement pattern in a controlled way. Good luck! 💫
