Riding a small circle back to the track as a beginner

I'm fairly new to riding and only ride at a riding school, but I find it a bit tricky to ride a small circle back to the track. When I tried it last lesson the horse I was on didn't want to, so my instructor had to come and help. So I'd love a few tips 🥰

When a horse will not turn, it is usually because the outside aids have been forgotten, meaning your outside leg and outside rein. Using only the inside rein to lead the horse round tends to bend just the neck, so the horse does not turn with its whole body. Try focusing on the outside aids next time and it should go brilliantly. 😊
