What causes poor appetite in my horse?
My horse has had very little appetite for a long time now. He barely eats or drinks, we have to feed him by hand, otherwise he eats nothing. What could be causing it?

It sounds like a good idea to have a vet check the horse, to rule out pain or illness. Poor teeth, for example, can be one reason a horse stops eating. Think too about which feed he has gone off. Is it both hard feed and forage, or only forage? As I say though, step one is to call out a vet to examine him. Good luck!
