Competing an Icelandic horse for the first time

Great that you are going out to compete! 😍

• You choose your direction on the entry form
• The classes you ride run on the announcer's command. The announcer will call you and your horse up to the collecting ring and tell you when to ride into the arena
• Warming up and timings are different for everyone. Personally I like to be there in good time before the competition, around two hours before my start

If you have any questions about tack, ask the judges at the riders' meeting in the morning. The organisers will usually help answer questions too 💫
