Should I move up a riding level?
Tips welcome! I've been riding for 4 years and I go to a riding school. I feel like I'm not developing much in one of my riding groups, so I think I want to move up a level! :) Is that the right call or should I do something else?

Hello! There are a few ways to look at this. I do not know anything about you or your group, but learning to ride well takes time, and the more you invest in the basics, the faster you progress later on. Push on too quickly and you risk learning compensatory habits, the workarounds that are not always sound and that you then have to unlearn, which only makes things harder. Riding is about hours in the saddle, not always about being challenged 🙂 One option is to try moving up a level and see how it feels.
