Fitness training for riders

I'd love some tips on your best workouts for the rider! I've ridden the same horse for years and I feel like I'm slacking. There's nothing wrong with his fitness and strength, but mine on the other hand... What exercises do you do to get as strong and even on both sides as possible?

General strength training is underrated. I put extra focus on the back and core ☀️ You can train with weights or use your own bodyweight as resistance, depending on what you enjoy most. Usually the best training is the training that actually happens, the kind you stick with. Training over time beats almost everything, so find a way to train that works for you. Fifteen to twenty minutes in the living room a couple of days a week adds up to a lot of time over a year, let alone several 💪🐴
