What type of concentrate should I give my resting horse?

Hi! I've started thinking a bit more deeply about which concentrate I give my horse. Right now I give her low starch pellets, but I want to know more about which concentrate is good for what. She's resting at the moment but is about to come back into work. Please write as much information as you can so I can read up a bit.

The most important thing is the forage you have. Try to find something with 6 to 7 g of digestible crude protein per MJ, and then you will need no concentrate, or almost none, just a mineral feed that suits her. The ready-made feeds are only blends of cereals, various brans, beet fibre and sometimes a little fruit and herbs.
