Which worm test to choose
Hi! Which worm test is best to choose? Is a basic test enough? It's for a horse who lives in a large group out with several others. Last year (the first year we had him) the test showed nothing. So we just went with the basic one. But now I'm wondering whether it's time to add a culture as well?

Hi, and good that you are thinking about this. Yes, do add a culture. It is especially worth doing now in the spring. If large redworm is found, even in small amounts, it is important to worm. It is then also wise to test the other horses in the same environment. Large redworm is a parasite that should be taken seriously. I hope you have a lovely spring!
