Can you compete in a wheel hackamore or bitless?
Since I'm most comfortable riding bitless, I've spent an hour going through TR 3 looking for rules on bitless/hackamore but no luck! I've searched everywhere, both in the TR and on Google, and I can't find anything. Is there anyone who's maybe competed in a hackamore/bitless, or seen someone compete in something similar?
Do say which bitless bridles are approved and not approved, as it'd be really handy for me to know in future!

Do you have a pony or a full-size horse? 😃 On a full-size horse in jumping, almost everything is actually allowed. You can compete in an ordinary hackamore, a wheel hackamore, a sidepull and more. So with a full-size horse you are free to jump bitless.
For ponies the rules on what is approved are stricter, but they were changed recently in the TR so that more bitless options are allowed. You can compete in a hackamore with a maximum shank length of 17 cm. The most wonderful part, to my mind, is that you can now compete in a sidepull without leverage.😊
So yes, you can compete in it!
