What should I give my 19-year-old loan horse for hard feed and supplements?

Hi! My loan horse is 19 and I've got no idea what to give her for hard feed, minerals or vitamins. She's really lively and happy (you'd think she was 4 sometimes). She puts on weight easily but also loses it fairly easily. What would you recommend for a horse like this?

Hello! Older horses, from around 20 onwards, need more energy, so yours probably needs a little extra. It is also especially important to keep an eye on her teeth, making sure she chews properly and gets enough out of her feed. To work out what hard feed and minerals she needs, you will need a forage analysis.
