Riding hat sizes between brands

How do you all find the sizing across the different hat brands? I've currently got a Back on Track in size 58 that fits perfectly. But I'm keen to buy another hat, something like a Samshield or Kask, and I'm a bit torn on how they come up for size. Can I buy the same size, or do some brands come up bigger or smaller? What's your experience?

Even when hats from different makers are labelled the same size, they often differ in shape and fit, and in how big or small they feel once on your head. Because the shapes vary, a given hat suits some people better than others.

The best thing is to try the different hats on and compare how they feel.
