Horse with a fever after vaccination

My pony was vaccinated today and came down with a fever. We have been in touch with the vet and there should not be any danger, for now. But I am wondering if anyone has anything extra to keep an eye on or bear in mind! Thanks in advance❤️

Hi!

A fever after vaccination is common. Keep an eye on your pony eating, drinking and seeming alright. Let the pony take things easy for a couple of days afterwards, and watch that the fever settles. It is good that you are in touch with the vet too👍

Good luck, and I hope your pony is back to normal again soon😊🐴
