Passport for competing with an Icelandic horse

My Icelandic has an Icelandic passport. Do you have to have a Swedish passport to be allowed to compete? Please tell me more about passports because I'm not that clued up on it ☺️
Answers from HayHay's experts

Hi! The Icelandic passport is enough. You do need to bring it to the competition, though. Make sure the horse's influenza vaccinations are recorded in the passport and that they meet the competition rules. You can read more under the competition section on Icelandichorse.se (a Swedish Icelandic-horse resource; UK riders should check their own national federation's rules).
