Permitted bridles in endurance riding - which ones are allowed?
The endurance rulebook makes it really hard for me to work out which bridles are allowed (and because it does not actually say), so I wanted to ask you knowledgeable lot which bridles are allowed in the sport 😊
And I have checked the rulebook but it says nothing, it does not even give names or pictures of bridles that are allowed. Could you share the names of bridles (pictures are great too!) that are allowed in endurance riding? ☺️

Hi! The TR för distans (Swedish endurance competition rules) state that the bitting is free, with a few conditions listed. This means you may use whatever bridle and bit you like, as long as it cannot injure the horse. Riding bitless is also fine. The requirements are that, beyond the tack not injuring the horse, the reins must sit on either side of the horse's face, and they must attach directly to the bit (or to the bridle, if you are riding bitless). You also may not use any auxiliary rein other than a martingale.
So you are free to use your usual bridle ☺️
