Rubbing from spurs

My horse has very sensitive skin, especially now when they're changing coat. He's got a bit of rubbing on one side from the spurs. What works best against rubbing? I've tried Bepanthen, which helps, but might there be something that works even better?

Hi! A lot of horses have sensitive skin when they lose or grow their coat. Great that you find Bepanthen works as a barrier cream.

🥕 I would say ride without spurs. If the horse is getting rubbed, the skin needs to rest and new coat needs to grow back, and applying cream will not help if the spurs keep rubbing.
