Nervous before a private lesson
I'm going to a private lesson at a new yard on Friday and I'm nervous!! I don't know what to do, have you got any tips?!! 😫😫

How exciting! Feeling nervous is completely natural and nothing to be afraid of, even though it can be hard going. Remember that the reason you are nervous is positive at heart: you want it to go well, so much so that it tips over into nerves.
Accept the feeling, let it be there, and turn your focus to what you are looking forward to. Remind yourself that this is something you are doing because you enjoy it. If the nerves are getting to you during the week, try to focus on the things that make you feel secure. That could be spending time with family and friends, being around animals if you can, having a shower, watching a favourite film or reading a book.
