Riding during the moose hunt - safety advice

Good question! Being from northern Sweden myself, I find that here around Stockholm and further south people hunt much closer to built-up areas. Up north we could ride out as usual, just wearing hi-vis, because the hunting parties were at least a good twenty kilometres away. Here I have got into the habit of asking the yard owner, the landowner and the hunting parties where and when they are shooting, and I genuinely do not ride out in those areas on those days. Where I am now, many people hunt mainly at weekends and often in the mornings. I always put safety first! 😊
